It’s not Winter if don’t have one of these MUST HAVEs of the season!
Fashion is spinning over my head a bit too much lately! I feel like I’m not able to keep track of all the runaway shows, all the collections, all the new designers…. it’s a hard work!
I bet you all noticed these trends in stores, but in case you missed some of them… here you are!
Pattern mixing
This is the plague of the latest years to tell the truth. Pattern mixing is a real art, and if you can’t do it well, don’t do it! Mixing colours, optical patterns with floral patterns and adding sequins to the whole outfit it’s not a good idea!Hats
If you want to be a real lay-dee you have to own at least one wide-brimmed hat.Cloaks and capes
Wearing a cape above your over-size sweater or your coat is a must this season. They’re making them of all shapes and colours, and for every taste! I love them, a cape gives you the feminine elegance back when you’re forced to put on layers upon layers in cold weather!

I’m glad to hear that capes are in fashion. I have one that I bought in a vintage shop and I LOVE it. It’s very lightweight, so it’s perfect for wearing over a coat. I enjoy your blog. Have a happy holiday!
Yes they are, and I honestly don’t think they are going to go anywhere for a long time! They’re just too elegant and feminine to go away!
