See the best of all possible worlds: how to choose the right eyewear!

Since the Winter’s Solstice has already gone, we are facing the days getting longer, and with days the sunlight.

How are you dealing with it?

I firmly believe that owning the right pair of sunglasses is the most important thing when going out on the streets: the only things that compares in importance are coat and shoes. If you have those three things matching together and suiting your figure, you are half way towards style perfection!

But how to choose the right eyewear? I bet you have already experienced that long and hard work trying on every single pair displayed in the shop, staring at the mirror front, side and back if it was possible! That pair looks too big, the other one looks funny on your cheeks, that square one makes you look evil, the little one makes your face look huge.

Here are a couple of suggestions I dare to give you to choose the right pair of sunglasses!

• What kind of face shape do you have?

Round face: big squared ones, or the ones that go larger at the end towards the sides of your face!

Big forehead and large cheeks: For this kind of shape I’d suggest you the classic Rayban shape! It makes your face look a bit longer, and because of that, less large! Plus, it gives you that “bad girl” look that we all chase!

Square face: Try round lenses to soften the angles of your face shape!

 

Long face: Avoid the thin ones, go for squared big ones, but be careful to choose the right size, you don’t want glasses with a void between your temples and the glasses sticks!

Little eyes: buy some dark pairs, some that don’t allow seeing through the lenses so you can hide this little imperfection and look like a diva!

Big light eyes: choose the faded lenses ones, that start darker at the bottom and go lighter on top (or the opposite). This will add mischeviousness to your look and will make a special see-through effect that will make people literally fall to your feet!
